Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. was founded by twenty-two determined and dedicated women at Howard University on January 13, 1913.  Creating a mission of  high scholastics, strong sisterhood, and public service was their main focus. With over 300,000 members in more than 950 chapters worldwide, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated continues to thrive.
